IP Paging Volume

I am trying to turn down the individual paging volume on Nortel/Avaya 1200 series IP phones.
The paging is coming from XAS running a third party paging software. Tried turning down 'Handsfree listen" and just pressing down volume button while page is coming through.Nothing seems to affect the volume. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
