Does the SL100 support IP set's, and can you do virtual trunking between it and a 1000M?

Thanks mikee

Thanks John, it would be a SL1 seems we may have a limit on the 81c that we will exceed soon, when it's 8 groups are all used up,along with number plan issues between other campus's

i don't care for the dms, i perfer tandem 81C's but have had the pleasure of working on a install for that switch. the software is easy enough but you lose features. i would keep a 1000m for ip and use pri's to link it back to the 1000, you'll lose the dual appearences of ip and tdm dn's. a major bust. we use cisco ip so we don't have that now

I compleatly agree with John. Stay away from the SL100 belive me it is a very painful transition in many ways. Put in another 81c and network them together (over IP if u wish). They can really be virtualy seemless to the end user. You can still keep one VM and such.
