We have IP 406 with IP 400 Analog, and 2 IP 400 Digital
Modules
We are having an issue with Message Lights staying even
though there are NO messages (new) or even saved in some cases .....in the Definty, Merlin Legend/Magix and even the Partner system you can dial a code to remove a MSG
light...
 
FYI:
The only common thing is that are both Members of
a Hunt Group (Ring) they disable and enable the Hunt
group with short code *85 Huntgroupenable
or *86 Huntgroupdisable
 
I suspect that there may be msgs left in the hunt group mailbox
if you are susing definity handsets i would sugest you create a shaortcode to access the huntgroup VM as follows

short code = *80 (or anything else that takes your fancy)
telephoen number = &quot;?<huntgroupname>&quot;
line = 0
feature = Voicemail collect

Hunt group name must match the NAME of the hut group exactly.
alternativly use phone manager to access the msgs.

 
Thats what it was ....thanks ....a couple of hang ups
in the hunt group mailbox even though Voicemail was
not enabled for the hunt group ....suspect it was
turned on then off .....I have used that shortcode in
other systems
