I am trying to forward all lines that ring on several phones in the office (hunt group) when the office is empty. The recpeptionist main extension is 221. I have the auto answer that tells people to touch "O" for immediate assistance. "O" rings the front desk "ext 221". I can forward the ext 221 to an external number but when the caller touches "O" it does not work.

I would like to do this from home when necessary using the program interface remotely.

What am I doing wrong or not doing?

I like to create Night Service or Out of Service as a fall back to the main group . You can then time profile to control it or assign a button to disable/enable the main group manually or you can also remotely use IPO Manager to click on/off

If the receptionist is in the Hg also you need to check foward HG calls for extn 221 also

I cannot see where to "forward" a hunt group (calls fro ext 221).

You put one user in the HG and that user is then forwarded.

You can search this site for all of the details. It has been covered many hundreds of times. Probably best for you to search and read up on the technique.
