IP office voicemail email prefixed with +

Quick query which I can't seem to find a solution to!

I just noticed on our IP 500V2 that one mailbox has a number of unread messages. Checking the email address in system status, it shows as +email@domain.com. In the IPO config it looks fine.

It looks like the messages are not being emailed. Does anyone know what the + refers to? All other extensions appear fine and work fine!
