IP Office upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4 -- VM hunt group problem?

After upgrading from IP Office 1.3 to 1.4 (as per the download off of

http://www.avaya.com),

Phone Manager users that are members of a hunt group are no longer getting notified of pending VM messages that are left in the hunt group.

We can see the .WAV file in the hunt group's VM folder, and we can play them back that way......but no automatic notification of pending hunt group voice mail in Phone Manager. Yet another anoying bug introduced in a software upgrade that's supposed to fix things. Sound familiar? )

Any comments or similar experiences out there?

You need to ensure that all Users which require vm notification for Group messages have a Source number for that Group i.e HMain.

This was never the guess in 1.3, although suspect that it was supposed to be.

This will resolve the problem.

EXACTLY Correct.

I did not have the H<huntgroup> in the source numbers. Apparently, the &quot;bug&quot; was the fact version 1.3 did not handle H<huntgroup> source numbers correctly, and I did not have them programmed in at that time. Then, 1.4 came along and fixed it so that H<huntgroup>s were required!
