I have implemented a new IP Office for a facility that has two locations. The two sites are connected by a T-1 tie. The other site currently has a Magix PBX. Both sites have T-1's coming into each system providing dial tone. Because of the demarcation line defining the local/long distance areas, both sites need to use the T-1 tie to access the trunks at the opposite site to minimize the cost for dialing long distance.
1. Extension to extension calls are working from both sites.
2. The IP Office can dial a specific area code and be routed over the T-1 tie to the correct trunk.
3. The IP Office is unable to transfer a call, that they received via their local T-1, over the T-1 tie to the other site.
4. The Magix is able to route a call over the T-1 tie to the IP Office, but the IP Office is unable to route that call out its local T-1.
Anyone ever played in this area before?
