Hi

I have some issue with IP Office R4 system, we have configured a new SIP Trunk linked to the SIP Provider and it work fine, but after each 1 min it unregister automatically, it can't stay registration.

We have increase the "Expiry" time and "Refresh time" on IPO Manager but with the same issue, after each 1 minute the link unregister.

I have test with new IP Office R8 and it work fine and permanently register.

Please can anyone help us ?

Many thanks

Best regards

clearly corruption or a bug on your R4 kit , upgrade it to latest R4 or take the upgrade licence path.

Actually - what is the router / firewall you are using?

Look at a monitor trace and see if you're receiving something from carrier that is forcing the un-register. In Monitor, turn off everything but SIP messages and it should be fairly easy to catch.

Sean Hi,

interested to know your thinking here , is there any difference between R4 - R8 that would effect registration , i know many options have been added to sip config settings but would like to know your insight.

cheers.

Monty - lots changed between rel 4 and rel 8

Im wondering if the router is causing the trunk to de-register.

So the only solution to fix this issue is the Upgrade to R5, ....right ?

Thanks

Find out if the router is using NAT.
There will probably will a timer that will drop
the sip connection if no activity after 60 seconds.
I had the same problem on a customers Cisco router.
Find out from the sip provider if Re-Invite is Supported.
