Hoping someone can help with this. I'm having a weird issue with a few extensions. The only extensions this occurs on is extensions that are twinning to a mobile phone. When we call their direct dial and they are at their desk and pick up on their desk phone the call continues to ring. We have 2 way audio and are talking and I can hear it just continue to ring. The only way to fix this is to either call back and answer on the twinned cell phone, or disable twinning on the extension and call back with it disabled and then you can re-enable it. The issue will stop occurring for a little bit, and then it will come back. The call continues to ring for a few minutes while you are on the phone, but I cannot see anything in the sysmon that show's it's actually still ringing.
This has not occurred on this phone system with any other sites. The 2 sites it occurs on also have a different firewall from any of the other site. All the other sites are using Meraki's and these sites are using Palo Alto's that I do not manage. It also doesn't occur to every phone that is twinning at that site, but it does re-occur on several. The 2 site's that are on the Palo Alto's also had issues with 1 way audio calling between each other until I disabled direct media path, so I'm guessing there are some routing issues, but have no idea what to tell the dude managing the Palo Alto to look for on this other issue.
Anyone run into anything like this before?
