In an effort to expand my knowledge past the traditional digital phones that I usually deal with.... 0I just upgraded our system from 9.1 to R11. I'm trying to get equinox working but I'm running into some issues.

I've enabled SIP Registrar
Ive set user to power user
Downloaded and installed equinox
Clicked sign in and selected URL
Entered
I'll up load a picture of what I get after that. I was expecting some sort of a soft phone type client or something but I dont get anything like that.

What am I doing wrong?

Alright, I have 2 separate PC's. On one I have equinox installed and on the other I have IX installed. Using the URL method on either of the apps doesn't seem to work. However, if I go into manual set up and put in the IP's for my IP office then it does launch somewhat normally. Unfortunately, after about 20 seconds it says, "Network currently unavailable.

I can ping the IPO from the PC. Also, that is what im trying. I click the URL option and put that address in. I can use the pc and browse to that address as well. What I use that address to auto configure the client, I dont have any features available other than join meeting. I cant make calls or any thing else.

If your not using TLS Go into the client under settings, services, phone service and turn off TLS.

Alright, so this is probably just my lack of experience but I was attempting to sign in with my existing desk phone extension but that is a 96xx series phone. When I created a new user and a sip extension I was able to log in with that and everything seems to be working at least partially now.

Next question... I was under the impression that equinox could work along side a desk phone. I had to create a new user ie "phone" to get it to work. How can I make it work (as a sip endpoint) along side my desk phone which is an h323 endpoint?

Im a dummy. I set the wrong password. I needed to use the password from the extension field and not from under the user section.
