IP Office R 6.1 during PRI calls voice goes away and monitor says Control unit cannot be reached??

I assume with this finding that my PRI card is going bad. Any input woule be greatly appreciated. While we run a Tbird on our PRI in monitor mode and call a tone test number after about 20 minutes the tone cannot be heard for about 10 seconds then it comes back. During that time the monitor program reads under trunks that "The control unit cannot be reached". ANy ideas of anyting else it could be other than a bad PRI module?

What type of IPO and what type of PRI card? (is it on a legacy card carrier?)

Ip500V2 not legacy.

If monitor also doesn't work then i suspect the IP500V2 control unit itself.
I would swap it to see what happens then.
