Folks,
Sorry but I can't remember which thread I was in when I said I'd get back with the results of my port search so hence the new thread.
I used IP Office Monitor. Select 'Filters | Trace Options | Interface'. Then select 'Clear All'. The select 'Interface Packets In' and 'Interface Packets Out' and set the 'Interface' to LAN1.
Then ran trace with as few IP Office applications as possible switched on at an time.
Anyway, the results were:
<< = to IP Office port.
>> = from IP Office to application/service port.
<< 69 (Trivial File Transfer).
<< 137 (NETBIOS Name Service) to 192.168.44.255
(Appears to be used by Delta Server and Conference Center Server for system discovery).
<< 161 (SNMP)
>> 161 (SNMP Trap) to SNMP address set in config.
>> 520 (RIP) to 192.168.44.255.
<< 1719 (H.323 RAS).
>> 1720 (H.323/H.245) to IP Phone/Softphone.
>> 50791 (IPO Voicemail).
<< 50794 (IPO Monitor).
<< 50796 (IPO PCPartner).
(Used by Phone Manager and SoftConsole to initiate and continue communications with the IP Office).
<< 50797 (IPO TAPI)
>> 50799 (IPO BLF) to 255.255.255.255
(Used to broadcast user status changes (DND, Forwarding, etc) to apps.
>> 50800 (IPO Licence Dongle) to License Key Server IP Address.
<< 50801 Conference Center Service.
50796 (IPO PCPartner) is used by the Phone Manager and SoftConsole applications to start communications and data exchange with the IP Office.
50799 (IPO BLF) is used the PCPartner applications to receive BLF status change messgaes from the IP Office. This is sent to the broadcast address 255.255.255.255. It is this not being forward by some routers that leads to Phone Manager/SoftConsole working for call handling but the speed dials icons not updating to show user status.
;-)
