I have an IP office switch interconnected to our Definity and Intuity voice mail.

At the IP office site we have about a dozen people who want voice mail but have no physical phones. Is it possible to create "phantom" or exported stations on the IP office that the Intuity will recognize?

I built a station in IP Office with an indicator of "voicemail on" but get a wave-off when I call it. If I check "ringback" a call to the phantom office extension just goes to the receptionist.

Avaya in Denver indicated that phantom stations on the IP Office for use with an Intuity wasn't possible, but he didn't sound overly confident.

When an IP Office is using a centralized Intuity Audix to provide voicemail, you need to be programming at both ends, ie. a mailbox needs to be created on the Intuity and the mailbox number needs to be within the scope of the dial plan routing calls between the IP Office and Definity.

Look for the "IP Office Centralized Intuity Audix Voicemail" job aid, it on the Documentation CD and support.avaya.com site.

Well, I did create a mailbox in the Intuity and specify the correct node number for the IP Office.

Actually, I've found that we can put just put some additional programmable buttons on the phone that show someone has a voice mail. Does anyone know this command in IP Office?
