Installed 500v2 with combo card.(6)ds ports, (2) pots ports and (4) line ports. POTS ports are port 7 (ext16) and port 8 (ext 17). When dialing ext 16 or 17, hearing ringing audible across ports. When dialing in on lines assigned to ports, no ringing audible is heard. The lines are assigned to immediate ring on ports. Also, when assigning auto line selection to ports, only receive appearance button dial tone, never outside line dial tone even when lines are assigned as first choice. Have swapped out combo card. Did not fix problem. Customer wants analog answering machine connected to port.

program the ext that they want the fax on as "a fax ext in the programming of the IPO Partner, I just ran into the same issue on auto line select, it is broke and r6.1 is suppose to fix that issue. You will just have to label the fax "please dial 9 then the number" until the software version fixes the issue, word had it that r6.1 will be out late nov.
