IP office multisite

Hi - I work for a reseller based in Scotland.

We have a site with a 403 at one end of a 2meg leased line with a 406 at the other.

This works really well however the customer has decided that they would like to split reception over the two sites which on paper is possible HOWEVER

You don't seem to be able to add extensions from one site into a group at another. I have tried making virtual extensions on the local site and forwarding them to the other site. This appears to cause confusion as calls get cut off.

The systems are running 1.0(60) software.

can anyone help me?

Maybe try upgrading to release 1.3(30) ??

Just doing that now will let you know if it fixes the problem...

OK so upgrading the software hasn't fixed it so here is somemore detail.

Site A
all calls come in here to a reception with 2 people answering the bulk of the calls. The customer would like to add a third person in but they are at Site B.
Calls that aren't answered are then passed on to a second group which consists of 8 users. Again the customer would like to add people from Site B

Site B

works fine making and receiving calls from site A however it is impossible to add users from here into the groups in site A.

I have tried adding virtual users in Site A which forward to Site B and then added them into the groups but they are unreliable or don't work at all.

Anyone have any experience of doing similar who can help me PLEASE!!

One solution would to be add IP Phone Manager Pro or IP Hardphone to the operator at site B, then they would be registered on the Site A IP Office and would be able to be members of groups in site A.

Is there anything the would prevent this solution from working? Thank you,
