What do customers prefer and users find better to use on voicemail pro and embedded IP office mode or intuity mode voicemail?

We always set it to Intuity mode, it just seems like a better interface and user experience. In Intuity mode the single dial 0, 1, 2 break-out codes can be dialed without having to dial * first.

I noticed Embedded has no Housekeeping. This can cause SD to fill up. Strange why Avaya would do that. Seems dangerous for the system.

This can cause SD to fill up." - Yes and no. Embedded is only allowed part of the card space, so it can only fill its own area, not the whole card.

That said, EVM is a great free voicemail option for "small systems". That's its issue, it should have always been limited to something like maybe 50 users max. Never understood why they did away with Voicemail Lite (VMPro but without the callflow customization) as the scalable option for folks with more users.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

And no, IP Office mode all the way.

We always used Intuity mode because it was the exact same interface as the other older Avaya VM systems and was a simpler transition when we upgraded them. For new clients we used it to simplify training for the field techs. Just one set of instructions for all the clients.

Intuity because IP Office mode has the ** option to dial the caller back and that has caused issues with idiots calling in with a fake caller ID and then call themselves back.

I also like the option of having 1, 2 and 3 announced to get messages and change the prompt rather than the IPO version options.

I however have this discussion with my colleague that set all his systems up with IPO mode and I set all mine up with Intuity mode. Stalemate so far :)

One other really geeky perk with Intuity mode is it uses the same audio file names as actual Intuity. I replaced the audio files on the Voicemail Pro that I have at home with an Audix language pack so my mailboxes say "Your call is being answered by Audix" rather than "Your call is being answered by IP Office", etc. ;-)
