I am tring to remote in to a IP office and to make life easy I open up the DMZ to access the IP office but still not able to get in. Is there a setting in Ip office that I need to set to allow access from outside the local network?
Craig

I think the manager has to be on the same network. You may need to take control of a pc on the ipo network and run manager from there.

to access a system form sa different sub-net the IPO needs an IP route back to the correct gateway
for a default gateway add the following

ip route - Blank
Mask - Blank
Gateway- <Default gateway for site>
dest - Lan 1

What is the correct UDP port to set in the router? I added the lines you gave me and that worked fine with the DMZ, now I would like to turn off the DMZ and use port forwarding instead.

Craig

You have to forward the tftp port : 69 UDP
Don't forget to set the GW into the static routes of the IPO.
You can also forward following ports :
50794 for IPO Monitor
50796 for PM and SoftConsole
50799 for CallStatus and BLF notifications.

It will make easier the remote Maintenance.
