Hi,

Just a quick one, we are planning to buy an IP Office (in the UK) then ship it over to Belgium then install it.

Will this work ok? They have an ISDN-30 in Belgium and as far as I can see this is the same as the UK ISDN-30 except that the CRC has been turned off?

Any help/info is appreciated.

You need to ask the Belgians, tell them the spec (ETSI Q931 etc) of the kit and ask them if it will work.

We obviously know the IPO but dont know how Belgium works.

Being part of europe you would expect the isdn to conform to ETSI standards, if this is the case then it should work.

However the best people to tell you if it will work are the people who know about the isdn over there.

We have knowledge of IPO but not neccesarily of Belgian trunk types.

this will work
belgium uses the etsi and qsig protocol (isdn2 and isdn30)

ACA - Implement IP Office
ACA - Voice Services Management

I have implemented an IP office in Belgium without any problems.
