First time post...

Wondering if anyone has used a Crestron TPMC-4SMD-FD (Full Duplex, Sip enabled Crestron Touch Panel) hooked up to IP Office as a SIP endpoint? We are a crestron dealer and have a client that wants to use this integrated with their Cisco IP phone system. I would like to troubleshoot it first on our IP Office system.

I have created a SIP extenstion through Manager and my programmer is about to attemp to configure it to work on his side. Do I need to create a user to the extension or just create a SIP extenstion which points to the IP of the touch panel?

Thanks in advance for your help.

you will need a user as the sip phone will authenticate from the user name and extension number in that field....hopefully

Thanks, I got it to work! I had the license and had created a user. What I had to do was uncheck the "Force Authentication" on the Extension in Manager. After I specified the SIP server settings on the Touch Panel it worked. I knew to uncheck the "Force Authentication" by reading a forum on Tek Tips. I was seeing a 401 error in the logs and others had seen the same thing.

Anyway, very happy to get this working.

Thanks for the help.
