Hi to All,
i have one question about the IP Office call pickup light indicator
we created group so that the members can pickup calls to any extension numbers member in the group. we configure the button of the ip phone (1608), call pickup member and assign to the group. the members are able to pickup the calls but there is no light indicator in the button we configure for cal pickup of the ip phone. what we want is to have some indicator on the members that there is call that needs to be pickup, either light button indicator or beep sound. thank you

The Group key is only used to monitor a hunt group with queuing enabled... if you are trying to monitor calls to other users extensions in the group, then you would could use User or Coverage Appearance buttons, but it would require one for each user that you want to cover...

Avaya Help said:
Creates a button that alerts when a call to the specified covered user is unanswered after that users Individual Coverage Timer expires.

The call coverage appearance button user must also have at least one call appearance button programmed. The covered user does not need to be using call appearance buttons.

Coverage appearance functions, assigned to buttons that do not have status lamps or icons, are automatically disabled until the user logs in at a phone with suitable buttons.

IP Office: Appearance buttons can be set with a ring delay if required or to not ring. This does not affect the visual alerting displayed next to the button. The delay uses the user's Ring Delay (User | Telephony | Multi-line Options) setting.
