IP Office Basic Edition 9.1 Voicemail 4

Sorry if I am being stupid here. Unfortunately, I am stuck with an IP Office running basic mode at a customer, and they have requested voicemail to come on after 20 seconds of ringing. A 5 minute bit of programming on an IP Office with an essential edition license.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to enable hunt group voicemail or equivalent on Basic Edition. Please Help? Has anyone done this before? I have tried using the VMS setting on the trunk to go to an auto attendant with no luck.

do this on the trunk form on coverage destination, make it go to a user such as extension 10, never tried to send it to a hunt group and not sure you can even do that in the 1st place, much easier just to send to an extension voicemail

Thanks for the quick reply. I need it to ring on more than one phone, though? Would you send it to the extension, with forwarding to the group?

you could give it a try but to be honest as all phone have a line appearances of all lines should do the same thing

In basic mode, if you send calls to a group, you will never hit voicemail. As previously stated, you set the coverage destination to the extension that you want to have its voicemail answer and then control who rings with the line appearances. Only way it works in basic mode. If you switched to pbx mode in basic you would not be able to both have a group ring and voicemail answer... because basic sucks.

Thanks guys! I was able to get it working by doing this.

Hopefully this will be my first and last basic edition I have to program.
