I have an IP Office 406 R2 behind a microsoft ISA firewall. I'd like to setup some IP phones outside my corporate network and let them register in my IP office sistem. I've tried to publish some ports (1719-1720 UDP and TCP plus 49152 to 53300 UDP) but i can register in my system. Does anyone have an idea?

thanks in advance

You should use a VPN connection for this.

But if you want to open your firewall to the IPO you must put a public IP on the IPO or portforward those ports to the IPO.

I have a couple of offices connected through VPN but can't do it with IP phones. Forwarding those ports is what i'm trying to do without success.

Think the IPO will think the phone comes from another IP.
If you also have a firewall at the IP Phones location the IPO will think that the firewall is the IP Phones adress.

Easier to buy a VPN gateway, they come cheap these days if the requirements are low.

Funny thing i made it work once

It might work, but just rememeber that if you were to have a problem and can't figure it out, Avaya isn't going to support it since it isn't a VPN connection.

You can use "Monitor" to trace what IP the phone comes from and what IP the IPO tries to talk to when it registers. That should give you a hint of what the problem is.
