Hi All,

I have installed Customer Call Reporter for first time, after login and modify the switches of the system settings, and enter the IP Office IP address and service user account details that the IP Office Customer Call Reporter application should use.
after update, the state will change to connected and the status lamp is green, when i refresh the page or after a moment by disconnected and login again, the state will change to disconnected and the status lamp is still green.
another thing there a message appear "you are not licensed to use this role settings", note that the license's installed in ip office manager includes:
Advanced Edition
Preferred Edition (VM Pro)
Customer Service Supervisor
Customer Service Agent
also to copmplete the connection , in manager i configure the user rights in the security settings, and on the system i type on the file writer ip adddress the ip address of the pc installd the application on it ( ccr, vm pro, cs), and the pc and ip office connected to the same network and i can ping from the pc the ip address of the ip office, is there any configuration can i do in the manager just to accomplich the connection to the manager.

whats i can do to stable the state to be connectes?

Thanks

I think I ran into this once but, not 100% sure.. think the fix was to clear the computer event log

Did you add the exceptions in the firewall of the server?
Did you follow the manual by the letter?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

clearing the event logs, clears the issues that have occured with CCR, and the reason why the status light stays red, its not actually a real time status alert, its to prompt you to investigate the errors in the event log.

Hi...

actually, i clear the events log, but after clearing it, and refresh the page, its return... for example:
(Warning: 4001, CSTA Service failed to Initialize)
(Information: The Data Analayzer Service nitialising communication: 3001 with the IP Office 192.168.2.210)
(error: 4001, unable to connect the IPOCCR Printer Discovery and task Scheculder)
for this error when i try to restart this service this massege appear:
(Error 1069: the service could not start due to logon failure)

ok, after clear this, its will return back, onother thing, after refresh the web client page.. this message appear in red in the top of the page:
(you were not licensed for the following roles, System License are:)
and another thing, for the first time, when i type on the system settings the IP address of the IP office and the user name and the passwored of the user rights created in the ip office manager security settings, after update and refresh the page its pull alone the name and the data analayzer ip address and version of the ip office.

iam really sorry, this is my first time and iam tired from searching.

Ive found since upgrading from the second revision of CCR to 7.0.4.2
that after installing i had wierd issues , tlpeter was correct in my case as i had not gone through the pre-requisites set up completly , this has changed since other CCR installs , I would advise clearing CCR from the machine completely then reinstall from scratch ensuring you do it step by step from KB.

It is easy to miss something such as an update or IIS settings, if you do this and still get issues then you need to start looking else where , but CCR is that flakey , it really is worth starting over at least it will give you a sanity check to ensure you installed it correctly and may save you waisting lots of time going back and forth, also as already advised run the batch file for the firewall when you have completed the rebuild.

I had the same issue, last friday before giving a demo. (it was running without any problems before) What helped for me was rebooting the completer CCR Server. After several minutes (long time if you are waiting for it), lucky for me no more message:"you were not licensed for the following roles, System License are"
