IP office and Avaya Index

We currently have an Index CPUx1000 with 90 lines (2 x ISDN30 and 1x DASS30) and about 50 users at present. We can be up to 150 users when at full capacity.
This is all based in Plymouth,

We have recently taken over an address in London and wish to put in a solution that allows us to make 'Free' VoIP calls across a 2mb internet connection at each end and make calls out to the PSTN but it must look seamless is this possible with an Index at one end and an IP office at the other possible with the IPNC card in the index? London would seat about 12 people to start possibly more in the future but no more than 30.

Previously I have only worked with hardware PBX's like index and difinity thought the IP office my be the solution as we have lots of unused 20cc and 2020 handsets and from what I can see these should be able to plug directly into the front of the unit getting us 'off the ground' in the first instance for a tight budget..

Any advice greatly received.

The IPNC & INDeX V10 are intended for exactly this type of scenario.

If the number of users at the IPO site are small (no more thn available VCM chanels) then they can log on to the index as remote useres & behave exactly as if thet were at the main site.

alternatively the voip networking would alow all the expected networking features such as calltransfer & breakout.

The reusage of 2030 handsets in this scenario could be either a bonus or a handicap assome IPO features do not work quite the same as thier index counterparts which may confuse users who regulaly move sites.
Acombination of the two modes of operation should resolve this,ie users that use both sites log on as remote workers when at the IPO site while others could remain as local useres on the IPO to save VCM chanels when not required.

However , i have an Index in uk to an ipoffice in Spain and States using remote logon via frame relay.Also is a another local branch connected via LAN broght in by a fibre.

UK is an Index cpu x 1000 level with three IPNC with 20 channels vcm each.

Spain, States and local branch are all using ipoffice 403 with 20 channels for 16 remote logons each.
