i ask this question before but ask it wrong.so here goes.i have a 403,ds16,ds30,16 analog.i have to replace the first
card the ds16 w/a ds30 what kind of havoc will this play w/my dial plan if. any any advice whould be appreciated

None at all, haha. As long as you put the new 30 port into the same expansion port that the old 16 comes out of, system allows for 30 ports on each expansion port and will create the extra 14 extensions/users, existing users on that unit will saty the same

Soopa Doopa Intergalactic IP Office installation mechanic and configuration corruptor from way back.

I have been in the same situation recently, and was advised by a "source" to make sure I was not at 2.1.15, so I went up to 24 and had no problems. I upgraded before the swap.

Your source was very wise to suggest you not be at 2.1.15 before adding a module. Further, you should not be at 2.1.15 before adding a user, resetting a password, modifying a huntgroup, changing any feature that was added post 1.4, changing any feature that was added pre 2.0, listening to Thriller by Micheal Jackson, slapping the queen in the face, or being abducted by space aliens.

Always happy to dispense IP Office related advice :)
