We have an ip office 7.0. The auto-attendant gives the caller the option of leaving a message to the general mailbox, which is ext 10. When they leave a message without specifying ext 10, the voicemail does not get forwarded via email. When the caller specifies ext 10 though, the voicemail is forwarded via email. Any idea what the problem is. Thanks in advance.

Where does the call go if the caller does not specify Ext. 10?
Hint, it is the Fallback Extension on the Incoming Call Route.
Watch Active Calls in System Status while you place a test call, don't dial anything, and observe which mailbox answers the call

Any idea what the problem is." - You haven't told us what type of voicemail service. There are no auto-attendants configured by default, so every one is different and you haven't told use how you've configured yours. So far all you've told us is you have a car and sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesn't.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
