Hi!

Can someone help me!

I am trying to configure my first SBC.
Scenario is IP office Preferred edition + VM Pro + Avaya workplace.

I'm Stuck at generating certificate for sbce.
Based on manual it must be done via but i cant access this port.
Where can i generate an identity certificate for sbce if i can't access the ip office 7071 port?
or
Can i use avaya VM Pro server for generating an identity certificate?

Thanks!!!!

Yeah this can only be done on a server edition, you dont need to use the SE its just a part of the features of SE.

It is okay to use a lower Version of application server(running VM pro)?
I'm using IP office with version 11.2.1

Not supported and not recommended but possible. But newer options will not work. I.e. the new system conference feature needs some hidden modules in VMPro that are not present in older VMPro.

I bet you want to avoid the Linux based Application Server and want to use Windows instead. I recommend to start using Application Server as all you need to know is well documented and Linux knowledge is not necessary as long as there are no bigger issues.

IP Office remote service
IP Office certificate check
CLI based call blocking
SCN fallback over PSTN

@derfloh is this application server you are referring to?

I'm trying to generate an identity cert for ip office using Application server. Does it automatically regenerated after clicking regenerate or should I download a pem encoded or der encoded?
