Hello All,
I'd like to know if there is a way to automatically dial an extension when the first caller of a conference call arrives, and hangup that extension when the last caller leaves the conference call.
Is there anything in IP Office that can accommodate this, or will we need to use our VM Pro?
Application:
We have reporters in the field that need to dial into our intercom system when they are ready to do a Live broadcast.
In the past, the live truck would dial a single line, and the truck would split that intercom link with all interested parties on location at the remote site; usually a photographer, reporter, sometimes a 2nd reporter, and sometimes a field producer.
Nowadays (it's a word, I looked it up), we'd like to have the PBX do the conferencing.
A Typical Scenario:
Reporter 1 = first person to call the conf bridge.
PBX receives call and immediately dials internal extension 1234
Zero or more people join bridge.
After last person leaves the bridge, extension 1234 is hung up.
I'm open to any ideas you may have.
Thanks!
