need to remove vcm card and replace with 8 port analog card slot 3 is where the replacement will be, will this change all of the ext's in slot 4
this is an ip 500 server edition release 5.o, The vcm card is not needed any more

It will create new its own new extensions, and try to figure out your highest current extension number and pick up from there. The others will not be affected

if I understand your description I assume this is an IP500 connected to a server edition as an expansion server.
