IP Office 500 - 5.0.8 and SIP Trunks 1

Hi all - I have a real witch on my hands. I have an IPO-500 5.0.8 with a VCM 32, all appropriate licenses loaded, etc. I am trying to build a SIP trunk from DidForSale.com and I am having a heck of a time with it. Our network is running behind a NetGear ProSafe VPN Firewall 50 with NAT enabled for the network. I have tried to connect the 500 directly to the internet BEFORE the firewall using the WAN port and no dice. This is my first SIP setup so if anyone knows some good knowledge bases I would be very grateful.
