Have a customer in USA with IP 406v2 R4.2. Wants to network with Avaya Communications Manager 5.2 in Mexico for 4 digit internal dialing. Does anyone know if this will work? What licenses or upgrades are needed on the 406v2 if any? Is there a tech bulletin or anything I can find supporting this?

Thanks.

You could use H.323 or SIP.
H.323 needs VCM channels in the 406, SIP requires licenses and VCM channels.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Use H.323 as it is a lot easier to deploy on both systems.
