IP Office 406 ~Conferencing Only~ 2

I have IP Office 406 for audio conference bridge only.
Do you know if it is possible to do the following:

- Invalid Pin Routine (enter in correct pin)
- Separate Host/ Participant login
- Music while waiting for host to join
- Announcements "You are the first party..."
- A way for end-users to change their own security code

Also does anyone have Conference Center or "Power Conferencing" with web based scheduler, web conferencing? I'm trying hard to get a demo but it's taken a couple of months.....

I feel your pain on the demo. In the past I've configured all my own demo's for most IPO features, but my boss has put his foot down and won't order the power conferencing licence for our sales demo unit. His point, which I completely agree with, is that Avaya should be providing us with a demo site we can direct customers to.

To answer your questions though, I am pretty sure you can do all the things you've asked about with the possible exception of users changing their own pin. I learn this stuff better by playing with it than reading the manuals though, and I've only glanced at the power conferencing docs so I could be wrong.

Likewise I have not played with Power Conference or whatever it is called this month ;-)

basic conf bridging can be achieved with just the ip406 (no pin verification)
Pin verificatin requires VM Pro.

I am not sure about the anouncements you require or changing pin's, iirc the pin for each conf is set by the host when the conf is scheduled.

I suppose you could build a callflow in VMPro to allow for user changeable pins, but you would need the IVR licence. Store the pins in your DB. My first thought on this was user variables, but you would introduce a serious vulnerability in the event of a VMS server reboot (power failure, Microsoft failure, etc.)

Likewise, with the IVR licence you could store the number of participants in a given conference room in your DB and provide appropriate announcements that way.

All things are possible, some things are just harder than others.

I have a quick question about the basic conferencing bridging -

We have several IPO and I would like to setup one as a conference bridge, can we do that if we are using centralized Intuity voicemail? If so can someone point me toward some setup docs, I can't seem to find any.

I know some of the information in the documentation before 2.1 in the PC/Specs are incorrect.

I've hired several consultants to set this up and finally I found one who actually knows this stuff well. His name is Rich from M-Comm Solutions. You could call and ask him to point you in the right direction, tell him Toni from 3E gave you the # 858-405-5398

I suspect strongly you can do it. If you're using Intuity that means you have a definity somewhere. Even if the audix itself is unfriendly to what we're trying to do, you should be able to use a vector to accomplish the task.
