Can anyone tell me how I might be able to get a beta version of IP Office 3.x? Or if anyone is currently using it could you please let me know. I have some questions about using the templates for the conference calls that I need some immediate answers to. Upper Management has threaten to pull the plug on it because they have to use a different Conference ID number and pins for each call. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Also, what is the current release date for R3?

This is a extraction out of the 3.0 documentation CD regarding conference templates:

Templates can be updated and then saved/re-saved, but only under a new conference ID. This re-saved/"new" template will be assigned a new conference ID, but any existing participant PINs will remain unchanged. The system will inform the user of the new conference ID. The newly booked conference is assigned the conference ID of the "old" template.

Current version is 3.0.40
I cannot give you the beta software, ask your vendor to contact Avaya and let them ask for the software.

If they don't want to enter different ids and pws each time just set up a menu and check digits pin in the VM pro this way the pin and pw are always the same.

This bypasses conference bridge all together and you miss out on the web interface etc but if its just an audio bridge that's the way to go

[cheers]
