Hi,

I just upgraded an IPO to version 3.0, and all went ok.

Only problem is now users have to type in their extension and password to collect voicemail, even when in sourcenumbers i have V[extn]. e.g V5311

The site has 45 IP handsets, 2x35 x 4602SW and 10 x 4620sw.

Running voicemail pro.

Any ideas? can someone else test?

Michael

Are you running it in intuity mode? if so change it to IP office

Auto login to voicemail was never "supported" when using the Intuity user interface - although it worked with earlier releases. It looks like Avaya has removed the capability with 3.0. Remember that if a user is accessing from their own phone, instead of dialing extension + #, they may press # key only - and system will open the mailbox associated with the originating extension.

In the default collect point in voicemail pro (intuity mode) send the start point to a get mail.

Make sure the you use V[Extn] in your source number still
