IP Office 2.1(27)

Every 2 or 3 weeks my IP Office Freezes. I can make internal calls but no outgoing or incoming. I reboot it and it works fine. I know there could be alot of things wrong but some general ideas of where to start would help.

we have been using 2.1.27 on many sites in u.k. with PRI, ISDN2 and analogue lines and qsig , voip and also in a scn enviroment without any problems.

2.1.27 seems to be stable with just minor problems with queing.

Does your set up include vm , have you replace your trunk card ?

I agree on that. There's really no easy way of provoking (27) to be unstable.

Haven't seen an issue like yours on any of our systems. Actually I don't think we have had to reboot any (27) in normal service.

I would also suspect the Trunk card. In the Alchemy days we saw quite a lot of systems where the BRI-card locked channels.

It's important that you use 4.1.27 Manager when you have 2.1.27 firmware! So just download the CD!

Are you using a UPS? Could be a power issue. You may also want to turn logging to see if that gives you any clues.

Have you modified the default IP Routes at all?
