IP NIQ question

I am looking to be able to use the SELECT EXTENSION in a Remote site's CCT. I cannot seem to get it to work. I know that some documentaion says that if you play an announcement in the remote CCT, it will take control of the call, but that does not seem to work either. Does anyone use SELECT EXTENSION steps with IP NIQ?

If you play an announcement in the remote CCT it will take control and throw errors in the logs. You can however play the announcement in the orignating cct and the remote CCT can select extension off of the variable that is used.

Yeah, I tried both of these and it still does not seem to work. When running call detail on the test calls, they are hitting the remote CCT, the variable (that I populated in the local CCT) has the correct extension in it, for some reason it will not select the agent. This is part of the error that I get in the log:
CUSTINFO Logical error in CCT answer_virtrk

does it work if you select agents by group instead a single extension? I think it's not specific to the extension step. I tried here without any problems (8.3 + 8.02, public trunks). enough dynamic ddis, free trunks?

Yeah, we have other IP NIQ routes that are active selecting agent groups. Would you mind sending me a copy of the CCT's (both local and remote)? I have a ticket open with Aspect, they have a BAC working on it, and can't seem to figure it out.

Hi,
no problem. I used a "generic" test-routing wich is full of "if it's 1.1.1990 then" cause we use IP-NIQ, NIQ and additional dialouts... I'll create and test a clean version tomorrow. Could you send your mail-adress to ckadr1@gmx.net?
