Hi All,

Does anyone know if its possible to setup IP Networking via MBG'S

I have 2 x sites with MiVoice Business (latest release) and also have their own MBG's for SIP trunking, at the moment the client has a VPN between their sites using a Data circuit on each site.

We are wanting to move away from the Data VPN as it doesn't seem to be stable enough.

I know you can VPN on to an MBG, but haven't ever looked at another option.

Has anyone come across this before and if its possible?

Nope. I'd work on figuring out why the DATA VPN isn't stable and resolve that. Or get some sort of MPLS/Metro-E or similar service.

Many times, a simple upgrade of the firewall's firmware will help resolve the VPN stability issues. Other cases, the ISP changes would be in order.

Run up something like Smoke-ping to check the stability of the ISP's.
Tools like Smokeping are available at the following...
