IP Networking Requirements for Mitel Controllers

Hi All,

I have two Mitel 3300 ICP needs to setup ip networking at two different sites.

What is requirements to connect the network connection between two mitel controllers?

For example.
- Using VPN tunneling between sites
- Using SIP Trunking on Mitel Controllers
- Is possible to use teleworker server to setup ip networking two mitel controller.

Kindly need your advice.

depending on your software version you will either need IP Networking license (Pre MCD 4.1) or enterprise base license (MCD 4.1 and above).

The two 3300 need to be on routable networkes with no NAT.

Dont forget IP phone to IP phone calls over IPT are peer to peer so whole voice subnets need to be visable from the other. There are firewall rules that need to be applied to allow both signaling and voice traffic.

Teleworker cannot be used to establish ITP over the internet.
