We are having problems with a CS 1000E R7.5 with IP Media Services. I have two MAS servers running on CPDC cards. The documentation for this product is worse than average and we cannot seem to get the solution into a cluster configuration. Avaya's answer is that we need to hire their Professional Service to get it installed. Hope to get a APS person real soon now. Same year service guaranteed!

I am considering dropping the solution altogether and going back to multiple MIRAN with IP Media Gateways. The documentation for IP Media Services is still unacceptable will not likely be fixed and it appears that there are few other users out there.

So before I make this move...

1. Do you currently have IP Media Services running?
2. Is it a redundant solution?
3. Would you share your configuration?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

We use multiple MiRAN and Gateways and our only issue is that we are presenting too many rings to our customers. I told our Call Center to place more messages on the extra slots ... or I need to switch over some CallPilot channels to Access ...
I haven't tried MAS servers but I don't think I will now since you are having trouble.
