Hi
I have IP masquerading working on RedHat 7.1 and three Win2K Professional clients. The masquerading works fine but 2 out of 3 times retrieving mail using MS Outlook times out. Setting the timeout parameter on Outlook does not have any effect so it must be on the Linux side.
I think the problem is a timeout but I am not sure. Any internet access is fine but mail access is a problem. My mail server is in the US and I am in South Africa so I know there is a significant delay during peak times (when the problem is at it worst - also an indication of a timeout problem). The problem is rare during off peak times (when the US and SA are out of business hours).
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
Richard
