quick run down: bcm 400, 4.0 (10.10.11.1); nortel poe switch 470 (10.10.11.2); WSS 2350 (10.10.11.3)-connected to AP 2330A; IP Tel Mngr. 2245 (10.10.11.4)

I can't get the wireless handsets to work. This is in a lab so I'm using basic networking. Sets display "No SVP Response 10.10.11.4" After changing the License option to 007, the display shows "No GW Response"

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Are you out there biv343?

License option needs to be set to 010. Are you using static addressing on the phone or DHCP? What is the firmware version on the set?

If you telnet/console into the 2350 and type the command 'show sessions', do you see your set properly registered? My guess is yes since you've gotten past the 'checking code' prompt.

I've ran into this problem before, and usually doing a reset to defaults, then reconfiguring the handset fixes the issue. Even a new phone out of the box has given me fits before. If you've got a config cradle it goes quick. If not it can take a while longer if you're using WEP/WPA.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks Biv, I'm a step closer. I recieve the logo banner on the phones now, but the display also shows connecting to server.
I have enable registration checked, global password checked, but there is no password and auto assign dn's checked.
In addition the phones aren't showing on the list of ip terminal details or active sets.

Have you check the alias IPs ? They should be different from the real set IP .
