Guys, I am trying to force SIP trunk Traffic to go out from RTC IP Address and not from phones IP Address. Scenario is as follows:
1. 3300 CX MiVB 7.1 PR1 - Software is enterprise
2. MBG in server only mode at the DMZ Port (MBG version 8. something, not the latest 9)
3. SIP Peer uses MBG as Proxy
4. SIP Provider is on the Internet
5. IP Phones are MiNte
Imagine that I create a Loop IP Trunk using the IP Networking License from Enterprise Software, and before sending the call out to the SIP Provider I send it over a Loop Route, and when the digits come in as dial in digits, they then select another route to finally reach the sip provider.
The question is, do you think the MBG will see traffic originated by the phone's IP address or from the RTC?
I can activate the packet trace at the MBG and see what happends, but just want to hear from you before I test it.
Cheers,
Daniel
