HI, Do you know any product that perform layer 3 load balancing for two router. I do not want layer 4 or upper layers balancing. linux application or whatever?
THanks.
You can obtain this through Cisco IOS if you have a few qualifications:
Two WAN connections terminating off the same two routers, IP CEF enabled on both routers. All static routes pointed to the serial of each connection and finnally an IP load-sharing statement in the config to control exactly how you want the packets shared.
You can also do loadsharing with multiple routers and ISP's via BGP.
Say i am too dumb. Here is what look like in my network.
My outside network( 3 class C but now only use one)

Routertoisp_1 Routertoisp_2

multiple T1s Multiple T1s

Same router on isp side for both links
I want to load share outgoing traffic for my network.
So, where is ip load-sharing statement fit in?
What is IOS requirement?( like enterprise or plus?)
What is exact command?
Thanks.
