My name is Juan Felix from Costa Rica, I manage an LG-Nortel IP-LDK60 PBX . I'm trying to program a SIP trunk to connect to a Asterisk proxy. In the Asterisk log, I see that the registration is rejected because the 10 digits authentication username expected is blank. However, if I add, let's say one extra caracter in the Authentication User Name field (SIP Attribut 2), the proxy reveices the full 11 digits. In other words, more than 10 digits (any character) makes the PBX to send the Auht User Name. Obbviously, as the Asterisk proxy is expecting the exact ten digit number, it will also reject the registration. I've read all the threads about it, but I haven't found the solution.
