We have approx 50 of the IP i2004's phones in storage that I’m interested in deploying. I have a few folks evaluating and they describe a “tunnel” or “echo” sound when in use, regardless if they're on the handset or Jabra wireless 9125. We’ve had no complaints on the few 1120E or 1140E phones we have in service, possibly because they support echo cancellation? I know the IP i2004’s are MFD, but I hate to see them collecting dust. I’ve also installed the latest firmware, 0604DCN on them. They are on a dedicated VLAN, but share all other services including zones and media cards as wireless and softphones.
