Hi!
I've installed windows 2000 server and i want to share my internet connection with other computers in the network. The server has two network interface cards: one is connected to a DSL modem using the ip adress 192.168.50.1, subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and gateway 127.0.0.1. the other one is connected to the local network using ip adress 172.16.22.1, subnet mask 255.255.0.0 and gateway 172.0.0.1. I can't change the ip adress of the second nic because my father has got a notebook (ip 172.16.22.x) wich he uses in his office. First I installed the ppp over ethernet protocol for the DSL modem on the first nic; then I installed DNS and activated routing and ras with NAT. After that I installed an interface wich I called "remonterouter". This interface works perfect. After that I installed a static route for this interface. The destination of this route is 0.0.0.0 subnet mask 0.0.0.0. I set the gateway at the client pcs to 172.16.22.1 but I'm unable to access the internet with the client pcs.
