Hi all,

I would like to be able to use a BPS 2000 to filter traffic based on MAC address or IP - All nodes in the entire network are currently in one VLAN - I want to be able to give two hosts access to one host behind one port on a BPS -

Possible?

I looked through the docs - and they mention some QoS IP filtering - but I have been unable to get this to work.

The MAC filtering section seems to only filter based on Dest not source - so I'm not sure how that would help.

Question two - how do you set the username and password for the web - my config says use local - but the username/password combos I can find in the CLI config don't seem to work via web -

Any thought at all very appreciated!

Thx

you need to set passwords for telnet/console access.
And these passwords are also used for webaccess.
enable also web-access though cli/telnet

Then use RW as username for logging into the box
