Hi All:

I just installed an IP Office with Essential Edition 8.1(79). It has 2 Combo Cards which I know have 10 VCM's each - but are any IP Endpoints included with the Essential Edition? or do you have to purchase Endpoint licenses to connect any IP phones to the system?

Thanks

Thank You.. For some reason I thought 2 were included. I appreciate your clarification.

You were probably thinning of remote h323 endpoints, two were included at first with R8, now you get four.
Indeed You get zero endpoint licenses with combo card. New VCM2 card also give zero endpoint licenses.
You will get 12 virtual endpoint licenses with each VCM 32/64 cards only, also old 400 VCM cards in Legacy Card Carrier give You 3 virtual endpoints per VCM.

And the new VCM32 also takes away your free endpoints, but the card is now very cheap.
