IP endpoint license for 3645 WT

Installing two 3645 phones on 406 DS, running rel 5.0 software. Vendor tells me I don't need IP endpoint license. System has VCM5 and AVPP is setup. Phones register with IPO but cannot dial or recieve calls. Have loaded latest firmware on AVPP and phones.

Only an IP500v1 or IP500v2 do need ip endpoint licenses but then with release 6.0

Release 5.0 does not even has ip endpoint licenses for ipphones, Only 3th party ip end point licenses.

Do we have any update on this? just installed avaya 3645 with IPO 406 DS 5.0(15), but same problem with winger97.

What version software are the phones running. there was a thread about these a few weeks ago. there is an older version firmware you need on the phones.
