IP Doorphone on a BCM 450

Have a customer with a BCM 450 and they have another location down the street that doesn't have very many phones so it would make financial sense to just put some IP phones, however they do need a doorphone at that location.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to an IP or SIP doorphone that would work with the BCM 450? Or some workaround?

I would call Algo Solutions to see if they can help.

I stumbled across their door phone page while doing some searches yesterday.. I'll get in contact with them. Thanks

Unless they have dollars then check out

That's what they have now and they absolutely hate it. It's constantly dropping. Been working on their MCKs for a while now.

The other solution is just to throw a BCM 50 over there and utilize their Nortel door phone that's already in place and the existing digital phones.

Yes I was thinking that too.
MCDN and VOIP Trunk key codes.

If they have an analog trunk available, why wouldn't you just go with the Algo 3226 unit? Even if you gad to get a voip trunk from someone live voip.ms, you could put in an FXO gateway for about $50.00 and just program the 3226 to dial into the 450 on one of the lines over there.

Putting in an entire BCM50 seems like a bit of overkill........unless you're going to get rid of the Citel box.

The idea is to get rid of the Citel box. They've had nothing but issues with it.
